U.S. Special Operations Command has issued a request for proposals for a follow-on contract for support services to help process, disseminate and exploit geospatial intelligence from traditional and nontraditional datasets.
SOCOM released a draft RFP in June and a notice posted Friday says the command is seeking analysts through the Joint Geospatial Analytic Support Services II contract to help examine imagery and full-motion video from intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets across ground, air, maritime and space domains.
FMV analysts should come up with analytical products to develop patterns of life and target descriptions. They should also conduct battle damage assessment, activity-based intelligence and order of battle analysis and use traditional imagery intelligence techniques, according to the statement of work.
The command listed its required qualifications, experience and scope of work for FMV/imagery analysts, geospatial information systems administrators and integrators, GIS database administrators, GIS integrations engineers, GEOINT analysts and other personnel under the JGASS II contract.
