Special Operations Command plans to issue a solicitation for a potential five-year, $750M follow-on contract for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance equipment support, Bloomberg Government reported Wednesday.
A presolicitation notice posted Monday says SOCOM intends to use the follow-on to the Targeted Requirement Execution contract to look for systems integrators to provide command, control, communication, computers, ISR and related equipment and incidental services to the government.
Work on the T-REX recompete will cover systems integration; hardware and modifications; signal processing capabilities; and specialized communication solutions and networks.
The follow-on contract will be a full-and-open competition and a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The command expects a minimum of three prime awards and a maximum of six under the recompete contract.
SOCOM plans to release a draft request for proposals on Jan. 21 and hold an industry day on Jan. 29. Interested stakeholders have until Jan. 27 to register for the industry event’s one-on-one sessions.
