Sigma Defense Wins $250M IDIQ to Support DOD Sensor Data Hub; Matt Jones Quoted

Sigma Defense Systems has won a five-year, $250 million contract from the General Services Administration to help the Department of Defense process and distribute sensor data across site-level installations.

The company said Thursday it will assist DOD in efforts to install data centers and ground entry points and gateways used to collect data from manned and unmanned airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets.

Work also involves integrating ISR sensors and communication networks that support information processing and dissemination for conventional and special operations forces.

“This program is another step forward in ensuring joint all domain command and control capabilities are available on demand for our forces globally,” said Matt Jones, president and CEO of Sigma Defense.

Perry, Georgia-based Sigma Defense is a Sagewind Capital portfolio company that offers integrated ISR products and services to defense and intelligence customers.
