Shawn Tyrie, a former account executive at Amazon Web Services, has joined Agile Defense as chief revenue officer. In his new role, he will lead initiatives supporting growth, market expansion and customer engagement across federal government, defense and intelligence communities, the cybersecurity and digital transformation services provider said Wednesday.

Who Is Shawn Tyrie?
The executive has over 20 years of leadership experience in the government contracting sector. He most recently served as government president for the advisory services firm McChrystal Group.
At AWS, he served as a senior account executive, supporting the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Prior to AWS, he held the role of strategic adviser for the Department of War and the intelligence community at Gartner.
Tyrie also has experience in the public sector. He served as an infantry officer for the U.S. Army and as an operations officer for the Army Special Operations Command earlier in his career.

What Services Does Agile Defense Offer to Government Customers?
Agile Defense provides cybersecurity, digital transformation, data analytics and AI services to support civilian and national security missions.
In April, the McLean, Virginia-headquartered company secured a five-year, $118 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security to help modernize mission-critical systems within the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Office of Information Technology.
The firm also recently acquired IntelliBridge to enhance its capability to deliver AI-driven technologies across the federal government.
