Woodbridge, Va.-based information technology services contractor Sev1Tech has acquired Engineering Solutions and Products, a Chantilly, Va.-based provider of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms to the U.S. Army, to broaden its services portfolio, expand its geographical footprint and develop partnerships with new federal and commercial clients.
Sev1Tech CEO Robert Lohfeld said in a statement published Wednesday ESPs C4ISR and tactical field experience will help Sev1Tech build up its enterprise IT capabilities and provide a wider range of IT modernization services to the departments of Defense and Homeland Security.
As part of our mid-tier strategy, this transaction provides Sev1Tech with unique fielding and tactical capabilities. We are excited to demonstrate our commitment to customer service and introduced our enhanced IT capabilities for the U.S. Army, Lohfeld added.
Founded in 2000, ESP supports the Army across logistics and supply chain management, systems engineering and integration, training and readiness, mission and program support, cybersecurity and other IT areas. The company holds a spot on the service branchs 10-year, $37.4B Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services contract vehicle.
