ServiceNow Closes Armis Acquisition Deal to Expand AI-Driven Cybersecurity Capabilities

ServiceNow has finalized its $7.75 billion acquisition of Armis, unifying cyber asset visibility, identity intelligence and automated risk response within a single artificial intelligence-driven platform.

The deal brings Armis’ real-time cyber exposure management capabilities into the ServiceNow AI Platform, extending visibility beyond traditional IT systems into operational technology, internet-connected devices and critical infrastructure environments, ServiceNow said Monday.

Why Does the Armis Acquisition Matter?

The transaction comes as organizations confront increasingly complex attack surfaces driven by cloud adoption, connected devices and AI-enabled systems.

Armis specializes in identifying and securing connected assets across IT, OT and Internet of Things environments, enabling organizations to continuously monitor and manage cyber risk. By integrating those capabilities, ServiceNow aims to connect threat detection directly to remediation workflows — an area that has historically been fragmented across security tools.

When the acquisition was first announced in December 2025, ServiceNow said the combination would enable organizations to link asset discovery, threat intelligence and risk prioritization with automated response actions, helping security teams move faster against emerging threats.

How Does This Strengthen ServiceNow’s AI Platform?

The Armis integration builds on ServiceNow’s earlier acquisition of Veza, which added identity intelligence and access visibility to the ServiceNow platform. Combining these technologies could help organizations shift away from reactive cybersecurity models, a move necessary to deploy agentic AI systems, which expand the number of identities, endpoints and potential vulnerabilities across networks.

“Armis gives us real-time, contextual awareness into the cyber risk of every connected asset, including the devices and systems that conventional tools were never built to see,” said Amit Zavery, president, chief operating officer, and chief product officer at ServiceNow. “Combined with Veza’s identity intelligence, that signal flows into ServiceNow’s Context Engine and AI Control Tower, turning exposure into automated remediation with governance and a full audit trail built in at every step.”

What Does This Mean for Government and Enterprise Customers?

The integration is expected to support both public- and private-sector organizations seeking to modernize cybersecurity operations.

Armis already supports federal agencies through its cyber exposure management platform, including work tied to the Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program. It also serves government organizations worldwide and more than 35 percent of Fortune 100 companies.

What Comes Next?

Armis’ Centrix cyber exposure management platform now operates with the comprehensive support of ServiceNow’s product, engineering and global go-to-market organizations. While integrated with the ServiceNow AI Platform, Centrix remains available as a standalone offering. Existing customers and partners can immediately leverage these combined capabilities.

ServiceNow expects the addition of Armis and Veza technologies to significantly expand its security and risk business, with the integrated capabilities projected to more than triple its total addressable market in that segment.

In line with the acquisition, the company is establishing a global AI Center for Cyber Defense hub to accelerate the development of next-generation security capabilities.
