Serco Group‘sNorth American subsidiary has received a potential $51M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support installation of close-in weapons systems on U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy ships.
Reston, Va.-based Serco Inc.said Wednesday it will help the military services install, update and modify CIWS designed to recognize and destroy anti-ship missiles.
The single-award contract has a one-year base period plus four one-year options.
Locations of work under the sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract include private and public shipyards within the continental U.S.
Serco Inc. Chairman and CEO Dave Dacquino said the company has supported the CIWS program over the past eight years and has helped the Navy manage command, control, communications, computer, combat, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
