MT&S has almost a thousand workforce and supports U.S. military programs through advanced mission training services and software engineering, Serco said Thursday.

The acquisition is expected to scale Serco Inc. beyond the $2 billion revenue and $200 million profit benchmarks as well as expand its customer base and capabilities.
“The acquisition increases our scale, capabilities and growth potential in U.S. defense, the largest defense market in the world, as well as providing solutions we can offer to our customers worldwide,” said Mark Irwin, CEO of Serco Group. “The acquired capability delivers comprehensive, critical, technology-enabled services fully aligned to the US military’s focus on enhancing warfighting standards and readiness through solutions that are both efficient and effective.”
The acquisition is expected to close in mid-2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
Upon the deal’s completion, defense sector will become Serco Group’s largest market, while North America overall will represent approximately half of the company’s underlying operating profit.
