Sean Bond to Serve as HDT Global President, CEO; Sam Bartlett Comments

Sean Bond, BondNation Advisors founding partner, will join Solon, Ohio-based technology and services provider HDT Global as its new president and CEO.

HDT said Thursday Bond brings more than 20 years of experience in domestic and international defense programs from his previous work with Pratt & Whitney, Bell Helicopter, BAE Systems and ISS North America.

“Sean brings a record of thoughtful, strategic leadership, intense customer focus and collaborative pursuit of operational excellence, ” said Sam Bartlett, managing director of HDT Global investor Charlesbank Capital Partners.

“Throughout Sean’s impressive career, he has gained a breadth of industry knowledge and strong executive experience that make him an ideal fit for this role.”

Bond has handled defense programs such as the V-22 Osprey at Bell Helicopter and the JSF119-614 Joint Strike Fighter engine at Pratt & Whitney and has also supported defense industry mergers and acquisitions at BondNation Advisors.

HDT added Bond succeeds Frederick Strader, current HDT board member and former CEO of Textron Systems (NYSE: TXT), who filled in for the role on an interim basis.

Bond holds aerospace-related degrees from the University of Maryland – College Park and the U.S. Naval Academy.

HDT Global offers deployable systems such as military shelters, generators, environmental control equipment, heaters, filtration devices and aerial delivery systems to military, government and industry customers.
