SDL, USAF Sign Enterprise Deal on Technical Content Publishing Suite

Content management company SDL will supply the U.S. Air Force with a set of tools designed to generate, manage and deliver technical data under a signed enterprise agreement.

SDL said Thursday it will provide the Contenta Publishing Suite for the military service to process information concerning asset diagnostics and repair functions.

The Air Force chose the suite following an evaluation of commercial off-the-shelf software products from multiple vendors and intends to use the platform to complement the Technical Order Authoring and Publishing system used to manage the branch’s technology program TOs.

TOAP is designed to handle technical content on asset maintenance tasks across Air Force programs such as the T-X trainer program and other efforts under the Nuclear Weapons Center.
