The Space Development Agency has posted a draft solicitation for an other transaction authority that would cover the development and integration of battle management command, control and communication software for the national security space posture.
SDA said in a SAM.gov notice that it aims to set up BMC3 Application Factory and Integrator, an environment where participants could rapidly prototype and deploy capabilities for the National Defense Space Architecture and in support of the Joint All Domain Command and Control initiative.
According to the draft, an industry partner will be chosen by the agency for the development, implementation and sustainment of BMC3 software capabilities. Services include ecosystem management, Secure Interoperable-middleware layer establishment and support, as well as DevSecOps pipeline.
SDA will award up to $25 million for the base period of performance.
Interested parties may submit responses to the special notice until Dec. 9. Additional questions and feedback are also welcome.
