Scott Goldstein Named Anduril Advanced Projects Head

Scott Goldstein, a U.S. Air Force Reserve major general serving as mobilization assistant to the Air Force undersecretary, has joined defense technology startup Anduril Industries as head of advanced projects, Inside Defense reported Monday.

Anduril said in a statement Goldstein’s engineering expertise and military, homeland security and intelligence community experience will help the company develop new capabilities for its government partners.

Prior to Anduril, Goldstein served as vice president for engineering, integration and logistics at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC). He also held senior leadership roles at ENSCO, Dynetics, QinetiQ North America and ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT).

He started his military career in the U.S. Army and then moved to the Air Force in 1990. He previously served as mobilization assistant to the commander at Air Forces Cyber, Space and Missile Systems Center and the Air Force Research Laboratory and chief of flight safety at the National Reconnaissance Office.
