Sandra Gillespie, formerly senior vice president and general manager of NCI‘s agile and analytics sector, has been promoted to chief operating officer at the Reston, Va.-based government technology services contractor.
The three-decade information technology veteran will oversee operational programs and help align organizational functions by customer set and capability in her new role, NCI said Tuesday.
NCI President and CEO Paul Dillahay said he believes Gillespie’s professional experience and insight will aid the company in its current transformation efforts.
Having spent my career in this industry, I am excited by the opportunities that lie ahead for NCI, particularly in growth markets such as artificial intelligence, agile software development and advanced data analytics,” Gillespie said.
