Salient CRGT has won a potential five-year, $207 million task order to help the Department of Veterans Affairs develop, implement, operate and maintain its enterprise network security and transportation services.
The Network Engineering, Design, Implementation and Infrastructure Support task order awarded through VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation contract covers technical support to the department’s virtual private networks, VA Corporate Data, trusted internet connection gateways, next-general WAN and business partner extranet, the company said Tuesday.
Salient CRGT will also help VA transition its information technology and telecommunications systems to the cloud under the task order.
Tom Ferrando, CEO of Salient CRGT, said the company understands VA’s IT environment and provides the agency with a team focused on advancing NEDIIS as a mission-essential initiative.
“We are committed to continuing our support to the NEDIIS program for this next contract period with additional mission critical scope and services,” added Ferrando.
