Tom Howe, formerly a division director at Salient CRGT, has elevated to vice president of homeland security and law enforcement solutions at the Fairfax, Virginia-based information technology services provider.
Salient CRGT said Wednesday he will oversee the company’s work with the Department of Homeland Security and FBI in his new role.
Tom Ferrando, president of Salient CRGT, said that Howe has 28 years of leadership experience and will support intelligence technology development efforts of the company.
As a division director, Howe led the capture process for the FBI’s Strategic Information and Operations Center, BorderNET and BorderRITE contracts.
His background includes experience in program and project management, software development, border and maritime security platforms and mobility offerings.
He also previously held leadership positions in the national security community and managed application development projects at Boeing (NYSE: BA) as well as mobility platforms at CalAmp.
