Salesforce has appointed Andrew Randall, an 11-year company veteran, as senior vice president of product management for government cloud and public sector.
In a LinkedIn post announcing his new position, Randall said Salesforce has been a trusted partner to the U.S. federal government for more than two decades and employs over 6,000 veterans and reservists.

“With Missionforce, we’re building on the success of Government Cloud and Agentforce Public Sector (formerly Public Sector Solutions). This new initiative will harness the power of AI agents to transform U.S. defense, intelligence, and aerospace—supercharging logistics, personnel support, and decision-making to accelerate mission readiness, drive efficiency, and deliver taxpayer savings,” he wrote in his post. “We’re bringing the best of the private sector to those who serve.”
In this capacity, he will partner with government and technology leaders to drive digital modernization and facilitate the delivery of AI, cloud and data platforms that help accelerate agency missions. As head of public sector products, he will oversee a portfolio of platforms, including Government Cloud environments, international public sector offerings and vertical applications.
Who Is Andrew Randall?
Randall joined Salesforce in 2014. He has held various product management positions at the cloud-based software company serving U.S. and international public sector markets.
Before Salesforce, he served as IT director at JDS Uniphase, where he was responsible for front office applications.
Prior to joining JDSU, he spent four years at Tekelec, where he served as manager of Oracle applications development, product manager of information systems and business systems analyst.
Randall has held several consulting roles working with public sector organizations, including early positions at Deloitte Federal and Arthur Andersen’s government services office.
The Virginia Tech management science graduate earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
