Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will compete for task orders to provide information technology services for the National Institutes of Healths National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute under a potential five-year, $214 million blanket purchase agreement.
The company said Tuesday the multiple-award BPA covers application maintenance and modernization, infrastructure services and customer support for NHLBIs information technology applications center.
As an IT services provider, SAIC looks forward to supporting ITAC, with executing daily critical functions while modernizing their IT infrastructure via a cloud environment, and bringing Agile, DevOps approaches that align with ITACs vision, said Bob Genter, senior vice president and general manager of SAICs federal civilian customer group.
Work will occur at NHLBIs Maryland-based facilities in Rockville and Bethesda.
