“[Sayco] brings decades of proven finance leadership in Defense Technology at a critical inflection point in our growth, especially given the recent venture capital investment that HTL took from Blue Delta Capital,” Acie Vickers, CEO and co-founder of HTL, said in a statement published Thursday.
Vickers added that Sayco will bring to the senior management team his track record in creating shareholder value and helping businesses scale through organic growth and strategic tuck-in acquisitions.
Sayco previously served as CFO at federal cybersecurity systems provider Merlin Cyber and managed satellite services company Ovzon.
His industry career included time holding senior strategy and corporate development positions at Thales Communications and BAE Systems.
