Ron Craig, a government contracting industry veteran, has joined Parsons as vice president and space systems architect. He confirmed his new role in a LinkedIn post Sunday.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s efforts to drive innovation, develop and execute growth strategies, and pursue and capture new business opportunities in new markets.
Who Is Ron Craig?
Craig brings to the role over 25 years of experience in govcon.
Before Parsons, he served as vice president of space solutions and strategy at Booz Allen Hamilton. During his nearly three years at Booz Allen, he provided acquisition and investment guidance and spearheaded the execution of the company’s growth strategy across civil, intel, defense and commercial markets.
He also spent over two decades in various leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, including as director of capture management for the company’s space business unit and special programs. He joined the aerospace and defense firm in 2000 as a program manager.
Earlier in his career, Craig served as an officer for the U.S. Air Force.
The executive has a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the Air Force Academy and a master’s degree in the same academic program from West Coast University.
