Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) has secured a potential six-year, $108.6 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply consumable and depot-level reparable spares for helmet displays used by F-15, F-16 and F-18 aircraft pilots.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday Rockwell Collins’ ESA Vision Systems business will deliver Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System spares to the U.S. Air Force, Navy and foreign military sales customers.
The contract has a three-year base period along with one three-year option and work will occur in Texas, Oregon and Israel through Aug. 31, 2022.
DLA’s aviation unit will finance contract work using fiscal 2017 through 2020 defense working capital funds, appropriate service funds and foreign military sales funds.
