Robert Carey, president of Cloudera’s (NYSE: CLDR) government solutions business, has announced the appointment of Allen Sackadorf, former ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) executive, as vice president of defense and intelligence.
In a LinkedIn post, Carey said Sackadorf’s experience in software sales and knowledge of the Department of Defense and intelligence community could help grow Cloudera Government Solutions.
Sackadorf supported national programs at ServiceNow during his stay at the cloud‑based platform and services provider. Prior to that, he served as federal VP at Infor for nearly three years.
His career also includes time at SAP‘s (NYSE: SAP) national security services arm, General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).
In the same announcement, Carey said Jim Pruden, who has held the role of DOD/IC vice president for almost six years, will leave Cloudera at the end of January.
