Risk management services provider RMC Global has acquired Shearer and Associates for an undisclosed sum as part of a push to bolster its service offerings and expand its presence within the defense and critical infrastructure sectors.
In a statement published Tuesday, RMC CEO Vince Kuchar said the acquisition marks a key step in advancing the company’s mission to protect customers’ critical assets.
“Shearer and Associates brings deep expertise in facility and security engineering and Industrial Control System (ICS) cybersecurity – capabilities that will further strengthen our ability to deliver comprehensive risk management and security solutions. Together, we will continue to ensure the resilience and security of the nation’s most vital infrastructure,” Kuchar added.
Expanding Industry Impact
The transaction and the addition of Shearer employees will enable RMC to broaden its footprint in the defense sector and strengthen its position as a trusted partner for government and military customers.
The acquisition advances RMC’s growth strategy by expanding its capabilities in engineering, risk management and ICS cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.

Shearer and Associates supports the Department of Defense’s programs and critical infrastructure projects through its expertise and capabilities in ICS cybersecurity, facility engineering and hardening, and security platforms.
The company has over two decades of experience delivering mission-critical support to government and military clients, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missile Defense Agency and the Defense Health Agency.
