ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has received a potential $133 million contract to support the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command in counterintelligence and counterterrorism efforts.
The company said Tuesday it will deploy skilled personnel to help INSCOM conduct forensic analysis, intelligence, computer science and technology protection tasks.
“Given the geometric rise in terrorist attacks and aggressive posturing by hostile nation states, America’s counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism activities remain central to national defense and security,” said Rick Wagner, president of ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group.
“ManTech’s vital work with INSCOM is the latest demonstration of our commitment to ˜securing the future’ of this nation,” added Wagner, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
INSCOM works to administer, facilitate and deliver a variety of specialized platforms in support of the Army, U.S. intelligence agencies and joint and coalition commands.
The contract has a base period of one year and options that could extend work through 2020.
