Mike LeFever
Mike LeFever, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral and co-founder of Invictus Advisors, has joined Iomaxisas chief operating officer of the Fredericksburg, Virginia-based technology and engineering services contractor.
Iomaxis said Tuesday LeFever will help scale the company’ national footprint and operational capacities in line with expansion efforts in the commercial and federal markets.
“His tremendous breadth of experience and proven leadership in operational strategy, planning and stakeholder engagement make me certain that Mike will help grow Iomaxis,” said Brad Buhr, Iomaxis owner and managing partner.
Before he established Invictus, LeFever served as a senior mentor at the Defense Department and a senior adviser at leadership and management advisory services firm McChrystal Group.
His nearly 40-year military career includes time as director of strategic operational planning at the National Counterterrorism Center as well as a commander and senior military representative at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.
He also commanded the Expeditionary Strike Group ONE and led joint forces and international partners in humanitarian and disaster relief efforts following a 2005 earthquake in Pakistan.
