A Cerberus Capital Management affiliate has invested an undisclosed amount in aerospace survivability technology provider Resonant Sciences to help drive the latter’s growth and product development strategies.
Baird acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Resonant Sciences on its deal with Cerberus’ Supply Chain and Strategic Opportunities platform, the Dayton, Ohio-headquartered aerospace company said Tuesday.
“As the global threat environment continues to rapidly evolve, innovative companies like Resonant Sciences become increasingly more important in advancing our national defense capabilities,” said John Song, a managing director at Baird’s global technology and services team and a previous Wash100 awardee.
As part of the strategic investment, Cerberus will leverage its operational and technology resources to help advance Resonant Sciences’ capabilities, facilities and product pipelines.
Resonant Sciences offers technologies, subsystems and hardware in three focus areas: advanced apertures; modeling, measurements and digital engineering; and integrated electronic systems.
