A Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) business unit will provide Joint Standoff Weapon Program support services to the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales customers under a five-year, $34.1 million contract.
Raytheon Missiles & Defense will help clients engineer, analyze, integrate and test JSOW weapon systems as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The JSOW is a medium-range, air-to-ground missile that employs GPS-inertial navigation and infrared seeker technologies designed to support maritime target engagement.
Locations of work include facilities in Australia, Finland, Greece, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and Turkey. Raytheon will perform 65 percent of contract services in Arizona, with a target completion date of February 2028. Each task order will be funded upon issuance.
Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland, acted as the contracting activity.
