Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will deliver 196 Tomahawk Block IV vertical launch system missiles and spares to the U.S. Navy as part of a potential $260.3 million contract modification.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday the modification also covers a foreign military sale of Tomahawk Block IVspare parts and support equipment to the U.K. government.
Tomahawk Block IV missiles can be deployed from at-sea and underwater vessels and designed to hit targets from more than 1,000 miles away.
The full obligated amount at the time of award is from fiscal 2017 and 2018 Navy weapons procurement and FMS funds, DoD noted.
Work will occur in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Canada, Scotland and other locations within the continental U.S. through August 2019.
