Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has secured a potential five-year, $150.2 million foreign military sales contract from the U.S. Army to help the government of Qatar deploy, install and sustain the country’s Patriot air defense systems and related equipment.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday the company will also provide configuration management, planning, training, maintenance management and logistics services under the contract.
Work will occur in Doha, Qatar, through Nov. 30, 2022.
The Army Contracting Command obligated the full contract amount at the time of award from fiscal 2018 FMS funds.
Raytheon also received a separate three-year, $163.3 million contract from the Army in January 2016 to provide Patriot training services to Qatar™s air force personnel.
