Raytheon Technologies Lands $398M Army TOW Missile Support Extension

Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) will continue to manufacture tube-launched, optically tracked, wire-guided missiles for the U.S. Army under a two-year, $398.3M contract modification.

The modification also covers work on practice and safety missiles that complement TOW, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Work will take place in Tucson, Arizona, through Sept. 30, 2022.

The Army used missile procurement and defense-wide funds for fiscal years 2017 through 2020 to cover the full obligated amount.

The company secured an initial $300.1M contract in September 2017 for TOW deliveries to the Army, the U.S. Marine Corps and foreign military sales clients: Lebanon, Jordan and Morocco.
