Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has won a two-year, $128.5M contract to help the U.S. Air Force maintain and operate mobile sensors at radar facilities.
The company will maintain operational readiness of Cobra King and Gray Star radar systems that work to provide situational awareness on a 24-hour basis, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Both radars are built to help the service branch collect tasked data passing through the facilities’ coverage area.
USAF received one offer for the firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive acquisition process and will obligate $22.7M at the time of award.
Work will take place at Patrick AF Base in Florida and various sites outside the U.S. through Oct. 31, 2021.
