Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a potential $128.5 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help the U.S. Air Force operate and maintain the service branch’s mobile sensors.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday Raytheon will provide non-personal services to sustain the availability of the Cobra King and Gray Star radar facilities where the Air Force gathers tasked data that pass through the facilities’ field of view.
The military branch will obligate $18.2 million in fiscal year 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Work will occur at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida and various overseas locations through Oct. 31, 2021.
Raytheon secured the contract via a competitive acquisition process and will offer 24/7 support for the mobile sensors throughout the contract term.
