Raytheon Gets $94M USAF Contract Modification for Targeting System Production, Modernization

Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a $94.2M contract modification to manufacture DAS4 targeting systems for the U.S. Air Force and the Netherlands.

The company will provide an additional 54 new AN/DAS4 Model B MultiSpectral Targeting System turrets and convert one turret unit into the DAS1A configuration, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Work will take place in McKinney, Texas, through January 2021.

The Air Force will obligate the total contract amount at the time of award from its aircraft procurement and foreign military sales funds

Raytheon received a $282M contract in September to produce and update the AN/DAS-4 systems.
