Raytheon Gets $133M Air Force Engine Module Remanufacture Contract Modification

Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) has received a potential one-year, $132.6 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to remanufacture F100 engine modules for foreign military sales customers.

The sole-source modification covers F100-PW-100, F100-PW-200, F100-PW-220, F100-PW-220E, F100-PW-229 and F-100-PW-229 EEP engine modules in support of Poland, Greece, Romania, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Chile, Morocco, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The Air Force Sustainment Center is the contracting activity and expects work to occur in East Hartford, Connecticut; Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Midland, Georgia through Aug. 14, 2023.

The F100 family of engines has powered the Air Force’s fleet of operational F-15 fighter jets. The Pratt & Whitney-built F100 propulsion systems have been used by 23 air forces worldwide, recording over 30 million in flight hours.
