Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a $102.5M contract to provide Patriot missile component modification kits and initial spares for the U.S. Army and the Netherlands.
The company will produce spares and kits for the system’s digital sidelobe canceller and peripheral electronics assembly box under the fixed-price-incentive contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work will take place in California, Connecticut and Massachusetts through July 2022.
Army Contracting Command obligated the full contract amount at the time of award from fiscal 2018 and fiscal 2019 procurement appropriations and foreign military sales funds.
The Raytheon-built missile defense platform consists of radars, a command-and-control technology and multiple interceptor types designed to counter threats such as tactical ballistic and cruise missiles.
