QinetiQ US Names Defense Industry Veteran Scott McGleish as Chief Growth Officer

QinetiQ US has appointed Scott McGleish as its new chief growth officer to accelerate its expansion into strategic growth areas, particularly within defense and national security sectors.

Who Is Scott McGleish?

McGleish steps into the role with more than three decades of senior executive experience in aerospace and defense development and profit and loss management. He most recently served as president and general manager of Weibel Scientific North America, where he led operations and business growth efforts for instrumentation and surveillance radars.

The executive also held senior executive P&L and business development roles at Raytheon Technologies and Booz Allen Hamilton, providing him with experience in global market development and strategic partnerships.

Before entering the private sector, McGleish served for 21 years in the U.S. Army as a special forces officer and non-commissioned officer. He conducted combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, allowing him to gain insight into customer requirements and mission priorities.

McGleish’s appointment became effective on July 14.
