PwC has acquired Scotland-based consulting firm Praxism for an undisclosed sum as the companies seek to help organizations secure data through identity and access management strategies.
Colin Slater, digital and cyber partner at PwC’s Scottish arm, said in a statement published Monday the acquisition is part of a push to expand the company’s presence in the cybersecurity market.
Praxism works with government, healthcare, education and financial services organizations to manage user identities for their enterprise systems.
Derek Gordon, founder and director of Praxism, and his 13 staff members will join PwC’s cyber practice in Edinburgh, Scotland.
