Publicis Sapient has won a potential four-year, $112M contract to help the Department of Health and Human Services update an information technology platform used to manage the award life cycle for scholarship and loan repayment programs, G2Xchange Health reported Wednesday.
The company will help the Bureau of Health Workforce modernize, operate and maintain its Management Information System Solution under the contract awarded via the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70.
Work will involve support for the BMISS intranet and four portals dedicated to applicants, participants, sites and schools. The bureau uses the platform to also manage the placement of healthcare providers in underserved communities throughout the U.S. and its territories.
Following the platform’s upgrade, the company will support its operations, including loan repayment, personnel recruitment and other transactions between BHW and partners.
BMISS employs web-based geographic information system software, an online resource and a recruitment tool meant to help users view a database of job opportunities on the National Health Service Corps and Nurse Corps sites.
