Chris Sortzi, former vice president of U.S. public sector sales at software developer OpenText, has been appointed president of Informaticas federal operations subsidiary, G2Xchange ETC reported Friday. He brings more than 30 years of sales experience in the government market to his new role.
Previously, Sortzi served as VP of worldwide government sales at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) Trusted Computer Solutions where was responsible for cybersecurity and cross-domain technology offerings. He also held similar leadership roles at Unisys (NYSE: UIS), RightNow Technologies, Intelligent Decisions and Computer Associates.
He holds a bachelors degrese in business administration from Averett University. Redwood City, Calif.-based Informatica offers software platforms designed to support cloud integration, data management and application programming interface processes.
