Progeny Systems has received a potential eight-year, $93.2M contract to engineer systems for the U.S. and Australian navies. The firm-fixed-price contract has a base value of $51.1M and includes options that would extend the award’s completion date to July 2027, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work is scheduled to initially conclude by June 2020 and will take place in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. Australia’s navy will provide $1.2M in initial funds on the contract and the U.S. Navy will obligate $709,443 at the time of award.
