President Trump Visits Milwaukee Facility of Lockheed's Derco Subsidiary

President Donald Trump highlighted F-35 support activities during his recent visit to a facility operated by Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Derco Aerospace subsidiary in Milwaukee.

Derco plans to expand its facility to accommodate warehousing and sustainment efforts for aircraft components that will be shipped to various international locations, Lockheed said Friday.

The company also plans to include more suppliers to help build repair technology platforms for the program. The F-35 supply chain in Wisconsin contributes an estimated $1.2M to the state economy, according to Lockheed.

Derco was named to the top workplaces in Milwaukee list for four consecutive years and aims to expand its workforce by 15 percent by the end of the year.
