United Technologies Corp.‘s Pratt and Whitney has secured a $3.24B contract modification to produce 233 propulsion systems for the F-35 program.
Pratt and Whitney will provide 56 F135 propulsion systems to the U.S. Air Force, 10 to the Navy, 24 to the U.S. Marine Corps and 143 to non-Department of Defense and foreign military sales customers, the Pentagon said Friday.
Work will take place in East Hartford, Conn.; Indianapolis, Ind; and Bristol, U.K., through January 2022.
