Polaris Alpha , a portfolio company of investment firm
Arlington Capital Partners , has bought cyber, network and software engineering services provider
Intelesys for an undisclosed sum in a push to expand presence in the cyber and signals intelligence market.
Elkridge , Maryland-based Intelesys works with intelligence community customers to help them fulfill mission critical cyber operations through the use of computer network operations tools and methods, Polaris Alpha said Thursday .
Arlington Capital Partners established Polaris Alpha in November after the Washington-based investment firm merged its portfolio company EOIR Technologies with data analysis technology provider Intelligent Software Solutions and cybersecurity firm Proteus Technologies .
“The acquisition is a natural fit to complement Polaris Alpha’s existing cyber defense offering, ” said Polaris Alpha CEO Peter Cannito.
