Intelesys for an undisclosed sum in a push to expand presence in the cyber and signals intelligence market.
Elkridge , Maryland-based Intelesys works with intelligence community customers to help them fulfill mission critical cyber operations through the use of computer network operations tools and methods, Polaris Alpha said Thursday .
Arlington Capital Partners established Polaris Alpha in November after the Washington-based investment firm merged its portfolio company EOIR Technologies with data analysis technology provider Intelligent Software Solutions and cybersecurity firm Proteus Technologies .
“The acquisition is a natural fit to complement Polaris Alpha’s existing cyber defense offering, ” said Polaris Alpha CEO Peter Cannito.
Cannito added the deal allows the company to offer a range of cyber operational services intended to support IC and military customers.
Intelesys founders Geoffrey Bloom and John Szakmeister will serve as senior vice presidents within Polaris Alpha’s cyber and SIGINT business unit.
