Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JPMorgan, said in a statement published Wednesday Novakovic will bring to the company’s board her knowledge and leadership experience in intelligence and defense communities, cyber and technology sector.
Novakovic assumed her current roles at General Dynamics in 2013. She joined the company in 2001 and has held senior leadership positions since then including president and chief operating officer and executive vice president of marine systems.
She currently sits on the boards of Abbott Laboratories (NYSE: ABT), Center for Strategic and International Studies, Northwestern University, National Military Family Association and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation.
