Cunniffe announced his new position in a LinkedIn post and shared that he will help shape GE Aerospace’s Future of Flight mission to reduce carbon emissions and achieve carbon-neutral operations globally by 2030.
He most recently served as a principal at global management consulting firm Kearney, where he focused on the defense, space systems and aerospace sectors.
Before that, Cunniffe was vice president of strategy and planning at BAE Systems and managed the company’s integrated business plan process and portfolio strategy.
His industry career also includes roles such as a principal at Booz & Company, now Strategy&; director of business development and sales at Hughes Electronics; and a senior staff at Mitre.
