Peraton Appoints Dave Hirko, Trevor Springman to Executive Positions

In separate LinkedIn posts shared Wednesday, Dave Hirko and Trevor Springman announced that they have been appointed to key executive positions at Peraton.

Hirko was named chief technology officer and vice president for defense mission and health solutions while Springman was appointed VP of capture management.

Dave Hirko

Hirko joins Peraton after serving as principal at Zectonal, a company he founded in 2021. He also founded B23 in 2014 and co-founded Apache Metron in 2015.

The Peraton executive spent nearly three years at Amazon Web Services as a senior account executive for the Intelligence Community, where he transformed the IC business line into one of AWS’ highest revenue-generating segments. Before that, Hirko briefly worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as director of program capture. In this role, he oversaw capture efforts of a large C4ISR program.

Hirko had stints at CA Technologies as director of solution architecture and at Gartner as an associate director. He also served as technical program manager at Northrop Grumman for over three years, overseeing a portfolio of Army, Navy and DISA clients. Earlier in his career, Hirko worked as a network engineer at ThruPoint and MCI.

Trevor Springman

Springman has built a career in the industry with over a decade of experience gained from working with just two companies. Before his latest foray with Peraton, Springman served as capture director at Northrop Grumman for nearly two years. Prior to that, he was a senior program manager at Peraton for over a year.

Springman spent the first eight years of his career at Northrop Grumman, most recently as the division operations manager and chief of staff of combat systems and mission readiness. He also held various capture management and analyst positions.
