The Department of Defense said in a Court of Federal Claims status report that it may consider “another solicitation amendment” and “additional limited proposal revisions” from Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Amazon Web Services for the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure cloud contract, the Washington Business Journal reported Wednesday.
“DOD anticipates that this solicitation amendment will be issued by June 22, 2020, and that proposal revisions will be due by no later than July 7, 2020,” according to the status report.
A federal judge in April moved to grant DoD’s request for a 120-day remand to review the JEDI contract award decision. The Pentagon has until Aug. 17 to complete the remand but that deadline could be pushed back to a later date once the department decides to pursue the amendment.
