Penelope Prett to Succeed Andrew Wilson as Accenture CIO

Penelope Prett, a senior managing director of Accenture (NYSE: ACN), has been promoted to chief information officer in a move that takes effect Dec. 1.

She will succeed Andrew Wilson, who will continue to work with Accenture through January 2020, and oversee global information technology and digital operations in her next position, the company said Wednesday.

Prett, who started her career at the professional services firm in 1992, concurrently serves as global quality and risk lead of its resources operating unit. She previously held account management roles across the company’s public service, health, products and technology areas.

“She has excelled in a wide variety of client leadership and technology roles ” including significant experience with many of our key ecosystem partners,” said Jo Deblaere, chief operating officer of Accenture.

“Penelope actively supports our unwavering commitment to inclusion and diversity for our clients, people and communities,” Deblaere added.
