Pegasystems (Nasdaq: PEGA) has formed a government-focused entity to help address compliance and product requirements in the U.S. federal civilian and defense sectors.
Pega Government has the Department of Justice as its initial sponsor and will develop and deliver all cleared work for agencies and support customers and their partners that are operating in sensitive government installations, the company said Wednesday.
“As we continue to evolve our work with the United States government, we recognized the need to create a dedicated entity to support the distinct security needs for some of our clients,” said Doug Averill, vice president, global industry market leader, government at Pegasystems.
The newly formed business unit will support government programs and their missions with Pega Cloud for Government and other offerings.
