PCS-Mosaic Buys 4 ASRC Federal Businesses to Grow Intell Community Footprint; Pierre Chao Quoted

PCS-Mosaic Holdings has launched a new operating company to serve the national security and intelligence sectors following the acquisition of four businesses from ASRC Federal’s defense and intelligence group.

The newly formed Athenix Cyber & SIGINT Solutions business comprises OSI, Agency Consulting Group, Kimmich Software Solutions and ExaTech Solutions, PCS-Mosaic said Tuesday.

All the acquired entities were part of Vistronix before the software provider was acquired by ASRC Federal in 2016.

“PCS-Mosaic has taken another important step in building a mid-tier, pure-play contractor of scale, substance and focus that can better serve customers at the pointy end of the spear in the intelligence, cyber, and special operations domains with agility and ingenuity,” said Pierre Chao, chairman of PCS-Mosaic and a three-time Wash100 awardee.

The holding company now has more than 400 employees who will support customers in the cyber, special operations and intelligence areas.

ASRC Federal will hold an equity stake in PCS Mosiac as part of the deal.
