Palo Alto Networks has received authority-to-operate designation from Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for a cloud-based offering intended to protect government systems from malicious software.
U.S. Naval War College granted the FedRAMP ATO status to the Wildfire malware prevention service and served as the company’s federal sponsor in the certification process, Palo Alto Networks said Wednesday.
Wildfire uses machine learning to automatically recognize threats within cloud environments, endpoints and networks. The platform will also work to help customers manage efficiency of their security operations centers.
